What a couple of weeks I have had. To even think that just over a month ago, my life changed drastically. Because it was on the 22nd of last month in the morning I was fine, but, as life would have it, in the afternoon, after about 2:30 pm, my life took on a drastic turn for the worse. Not necessarily the worst but, a path that I thought I was over and done with. I was involved in an accident of the worst kind, I was hit atop my bicycle on my way back to my local Blockbusters. You see I was riding my bicycle up a Street named Stockton, when all of a sudden I was plowed into by a gentleman who was not paying attention to where he was going, because he had a cell phone almost glued to his ear. But, life goes on. So what is next now, Lord God Almighty? Please tell me? For I am your humble servant. Is my prayer every night. I am finally able to go back home. Which is not only good for my healing of my leg, but, just good for morale. And I am now able to cook for myself, which has been just the elementary dishes so far but, otherwise I guess we do try. Which is remarkable, considering, I only have one leg to stand on. So I am learning again in Physical Therapy all the same tricks that I learned some 30 years ago. Actually, I am not learning or re-learning anything, but, just generally teaching my head Therapist the things that I know but have not even thought of for the past 30 some odd years. With his rememberances. You see my head therapist is named Sam, and I am not only the youngest patient in the best shape that he has had in some time, but, also the best looking patient of his. But, enough of building myself up, we shall continue to get better and better each day as the Lord allows.
