The start of the week-end
Today was the weekend but, I went out to tour around City College. The way I got there was I went down Broadway to Freeport which I had seen before because that is almost as far as 24th Street which is where I go to read to the blind. I went down about anywhere from a 1/2 mile down the street in order to reach the college. Absolutely no-one was there. If it is anything like the college's I have been to in the past, a lot of learning goes on there. For apparently a lot of people, because the cafeteria they have there seats probably anywhere from 500 to a 1000 people. The main admission office was closed because of the day of the week. I did have the opportunity to walk around the campus and it has the old strange but, not forgotten, "AURA" of learning. I came home after walking around the campus, losing my bicycle that of which I found locked up next to the LGA building that of which I will never do again. Three things that I really liked about the campus of City College would be not only their accessibility to the public, but, also to me. That is number one, number two would be the like I already previously said the "Aura", of the place just seems like something is either being taught and learned or something like that. That is as much metaphysical as I get. The third thing I liked about the campus was when I arrived there I was quite literally met by a map of the place, they actually have their own police department there.
